Skydiving and parachute displays are an easy way to have an aerial display at your next event. Skydiving displays can be used to promote your event or product and can be used as a major draw card. Many sporting organisations, corporate events and television producers have used skydiving to successfully promote their event, product or service.
Jetstream Australia uses highly experienced skydivers at all of our displays. Many of our skydivers compete at a national level and have represented Australia at the Skydiving World Championships.
Jetstream Australia can also provide air to air footage of your display. Our highly experienced camera flyers can capture your display on anything from digital video to motion picture film cameras.
There are a quite a few types of skydiving displays that can be performed. These can be tailored to suit your event, location and budget. Jetstream Australia will obtain all of the relevant approvals required for your display.
Parachute Display
A Parachute display is a colourful display of high performance parachutes that will draw the eye to the sky for miles around. Skydivers exit the aircraft at about 5,000 feet and deploy their parachutes soon afterwards. They then spin and dive their high performance parachutes trailing smoke or streamers for added visual impact. The skydivers will then land their high performance parachutes in the designated landing area. High performance parachute landings are thrilling to watch.
Freefall Skydiving Display
A freefall skydiving display is one where the skydivers exit the aircraft from up to 14,000 feet and freefall down to 3,000 feet. During freefall the skydivers will fly together and create formations in the sky. Imagine 20 skydivers in formation hurtling towards earth overhead. At about 5,000 feet the formation will burst apart as the skydivers fly away to deploy their parachutes. The sky then fills with colour as the parachutes begin to open and fly down to a safe landing. Watching a freefall parachute display from the ground as the skydivers fall at over 200 kph is hair raising. Freefall parachute displays can be performed with as few as 2 skydivers.
Flag Jumps
A flag jump is one where a skydiver carries your flag suspended beneath their parachute. Skydivers exit the aircraft at about 5,000 feet and deploy the parachute soon afterwards. Once they have opened their parachute a large flag is deployed beneath the skydiver. The flag is then flown around overhead carrying your logo or message. Flags can range from corporate logos to national flags. A great jump to have filmed air to air for later promotional use.
